Welcome to our terms of service.
Below are some generalized guidelines to keep in mind, as you browse and interact with members and posts of our community.
1. Following the golden rule (do onto yourself as you would another) gets you promoted. Not following it, does the opposite.
2. Categories of content are largely, and almost entirely based on member contributed hashtags with a few exceptions.
3. Simply put, personal content (found in posted groups, pages, events, marketplace listings, photos, audio, videos, articles, blog entries, forum discussions, etcetera) is content you yourself have largely or entirely created, and not copied and pasted from the work of anyone else. Be it a person, organization, multiple entities or a mix of these.
4. Reposted content, is not your original work, and we do ask that you credit whose it is, with the appropriate links and permissions assumed to be given by default. Let us know if this is not the case, with detailed examples of where your own work has been posted in such a way, and we'll remove or update it on a case by case basis.
5. When posting comments on a piece of content that contains mixed work, please credit the author and or source regardless. We won't make you limit how much of the source is shared, but accreditations help us help you promote our community in kind. The reason we're this specific about the kind of content you see in this way, is because clearly defining unique member generated content lets us prioritize what types of content we need to remove, if and when we're running low on disk space where your own content stays up regardless, but reposted content may be limited to its site of origin where applicable. We will always notify you about any content that needs attention in this way before taking action.
6. Site donations are welcome. Our hosting provider will let us have unlimited disk space, if we agree to pay USD$1,500.00 per month out of pocket. We currently pay USD$30.00 per month for 25GB of space. If you make your donation recurring for 3 months or longer, we will increase our storage and if you keep your membership active, we'll do the same again. We would need to make at least twice that much in revenue before we can afford to update the plan to cover an extra month of service at that price point from all members in total.
7. We will always have a free option for all members. We will never limit the kinds of content you can post, or the types of content you can see. We do not believe in pay walls, only generating enough money for a wall of payments to cover the cost of making our online home a reality for everyone.
8. We have two categories set up for members. Active members means you consistently have shown 3 or months of making 10 posts or more. And, featured members means the current month's contributors are recommended by our management team. We will never single you out for the content of your profile page, the role you play, or any donation you make.
9. Verified members are always administrators. If you see a verification badge, it means they have a management or administrative role active on their profile, in order to keep our home safe for everyone. Administrators may set up their own management area to communicate general maintenance tasks in, but are forbidden from creating exclusionary areas of content to members of any status accept for where appropriate, handling site matters in private messages or live chats if a member is online or being problematic in the most extreme of cases. In this manner, it will be discretely handled by the management team, before any action is taken, and we will always vote together as an entire community on the kinds of additional guidelines you as people would like to have, before we make it a membership led initiative moving forward.
10. We hope you enjoy Spiritual Guidance Community. And as a special bonus for reading through all of our terms of service, check out our site map full of pages you can visit, as a member.
